I'm fascinated by this piece. The only capitalized words are the proper nouns, which really makes the choice to use lowercase 'i' stand out, and feel kinda small...
I’m glad you spotted that. It was intentional and I went back / forth on whether to capitalize the i or not.
It is such a small thing, but I'd be reading it differently if you'd done it the other way. This choice really worked for me and grabbed my attention

Loved the imagery “acrylic light” and “dense fog illuminates”
Words like “seed and sown” bring movement and perhaps insinuate growth and reproduction
