Upon learning David Hockney passed away
I am reminded I am 49, this year,
and all that truly matters in life is love and art.
And perhaps our cat, Lowry.
The rest of my existence will be spanning time
between the two.
I befriended a dragonfly today, and Elon Musk became a trillionaire.
The chances of a dragonfly becoming a trillionaire are far greater than the chances of me befriending Elon Musk. But, Hark!, the chances of getting a book publisher are slightly better.
